Who We Are

Fire Service Ladies Association (FILAS) of Ghana National Fire Service was formed and inaugurated in August, 1995.
FISLA is registered with the Registrar General’s Department as a company limited by guarantee and also duly issued with a Certificate of Recognition as a nationwide not for profit and non government organisation by the Department of Social Welfare.
Membership
FISLA members are female officers’ of the Ghana National Fire Service with diverse professional background. FILAS is present in all the sixteen administrative regions, two hundred and sixty (260) metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies of the republic of Ghana.
Governance
FISLA is independently governed by its constitution, rules and regulations of the Association with national executives comprising of the President, Vice President, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Secretary, Assistant Secretary and Organising Secretary at its National Headquarters and same organisational structure at various regional branches nationwide.
